Fresh Sky AI for Civil Air Patrol — member-focused planning tools

The pitch, short version

I'm a Civil Air Patrol member. I'm also a software engineer who builds AI tools for civic problems through Fresh Sky LLC. CAP eats so much volunteer time on admin — looking up the right CAPR section, prepping cadets for AT cycles, building meeting agendas — that I built focused tools to take the worst of it off your plate.

Three apps live now: CAPR Search answers regulation questions in plain language with citations · CAPStudy generates Achievement Test practice questions for cadets across the Curry through Eaker progression · CAPMeeting builds a 90-minute squadron meeting agenda with safety briefing, AE moment, and drill plan from a few inputs.

All three include three previews, then Civic access at $14.99/month with 40 usage units per day and 200 per month. Civic access covers CivicOps and CAP modules only; it does not include non-Civic Fresh Sky products. Existing eligible subscriptions continue to be recognized. No long-term contracts.

Why this exists

Why a CAP member would build focused tools for CAP, and what's NOT in scope.

The thinking

CAP runs on volunteer evenings. Every hour spent looking up a CAPR section is an hour not spent flying, mentoring, or training. AI is finally good enough to give those hours back.
The publication references are publicly available. CAP NHQ publishes its current forms, regulations, manuals, and pamphlet indexes online, so members can verify every referenced document at the source.
NHQ doesn't build tools like these. NHQ runs eServices and the auth backbone — they don't ship single-purpose member tools. That's the gap volunteers can fill.
I want to contribute beyond meetings. I'm a member. While my squadron meets weekly, my engineering skills can serve more than just one squadron — these tools work for any CAP member, anywhere.

What's deliberately out of scope

Anything during a live mission. SAR tasking, ICS forms in flight, ramp checks during ops — life-safety and USAF integration risks. Hard line.
Rosters, CAPIDs, PHI, incident identifiers, or operational secrets. Zero data of those kinds belongs in these tools.
eServices integration. No NHQ API; reverse-engineering = no. Tools complement eServices, never replace or scrape.
Anything that competes with NHQ's own systems. If NHQ builds it, we don't.
No member rosters uploaded. We never ask for member lists or eServices exports.
